Ortec Finance delivers an important contribution to Prospery, a new digital asset manager in Germany
Press release Rotterdam, 11 December 2017
Last week, ABN Amro launched Prospery, a new digital wealth manager in Germany. With OPAL, Ortec Finance is responsible for the calculating engine behind the system. OPAL is a goal-based financial planning system that provides insight in the risk and return of investment decisions. It is also used for cashflow analyses, and to determine the feasibility of the financial goals of clients.
Prospery is Europe’s first completely online wealth manager. The system joins digital asset management and personal advice by certified experts. Prospery is capable of giving clients an oversight of their current and future capital. It can actively manage investments, and delivers personal coaching via chat or video call.
Goal-based financial planning
Ortec Finance has been asked to support Prospery with OPAL. This financial planning tool uses what-if scenarios to determine the feasibility of financial goals for different market developments. OPAL also monitors the effects of investment decisions and changes in a client’s financial situation. This makes OPAL a perfect solution for goal-based financial planning.
Data aggregation gives clients a complete overview and makes clients’ data directly available for financial advice. OPAL’s API is being used for the online platform. Clients who opt for personal advice are connected to a Wealth Coach who has extra functionalities available to him through OPAL’s user interface. Using this interface, coaches can work out financial plans in detail and present them via video calls. Both solutions are being hosted by Ortec Finance.
Independent asset management
OPAL is part of a complete system, built in nine months by prominent parties in their field. The fully digitized approach meets a growing need for flexible, individual and independent asset management. As such, Prospery leads the way in a growing European market.
